Snowmobiling time!!

Today, Brandon woke me up while he was getting ready for work to tell me the wonderful news that it had snowed. As excited as I am for snowmobiling, I'm really not thrilled with snow because I hate driving in it! We have a lot of trips planned this winter to go sledding so hopefully everything stays in one piece! We just bought two snowmobiles last month that will be really fun. They are both 2001 Polaris RMK's, his is a 700 and mine is a 600.

I've only rode a snowmobile once last year so hopefully I like it after all the money we've put into them! For New Years we are planning on going to Island park with my family which will be a blast cuz there is tons of snow there!

November

Well November was a pretty laid back month for us. Not much went on besides family pictures. We went to Merlin Olsen park in Logan and got some really good pics of the family.

very photogenic.. I guess we're pro's after posing for all of those wedding pictures...

Just the girls..

The whole family...

There is another family picture that I don't have yet that is really good of all of us. Its on the x-mas card we're sending out this year. Even though we all hate pictures so much I'm glad we still do them!

Flying

At the end of September Brandon's uncle asked if we wanted to fly in his plane. It was just a little four seater and we went out of the little Logan airport. BJ came with us since he really wants to be a pilot. It was a little scary but I got some really pretty pictures. I forgot my camera so I had to use my mom's so I'm taking a picture of a picture so these don't look near as good as the original.

This is Brandon's uncle Dan. He is quite the man. He is a contractor and is on every EMS team and fire department possible. He has owned this little plane for a while and told us that once he finished his house in Bear Lake he would take us for a ride. All we had to do for him was help him load up all his stuff in his hanger because he was going to be putting the plane in an Idaho hanger closer to his new house. So pretty much it was a free ride!

Brandon was playing copilot while me and BJ were in the backseat. I wanted me and Brandon to sit together, but Dan tactfully said we need to evenly distribute the weight, aka he needs a fat and skinny person in the back and BJ said he weighed less than Brandon. :(

It was such a pretty ride! We got to see a lot of the valley and even saw the Corn maze!! Now we can kind of cheat! I didn't know the maze made a picture so that was cool! The only thing that was pretty freaky was when Dan decided to be funny and pull the plane up and then nose dive. I have never lost my stomach so fast! I was screaming so hard I'm suprised I didn't brake my mouthpiece! Its ok though, BJ looked just about as freaked out when I looked over! :)

Kayden

Our cute little nephew Kayden just turned one last week. It's amazing how fast time goes by!!! I swear I was just holding him in the nursery!! He's a pic from the night he was born. Luckily I was still a CNA back then and had time to sit in the nursery and hold him that night. He was being a terd about eating and it took me 3o min to feed him 1o ml ! He definetely has no problem eating now though!Kayden has always been really special to Brandon because he had the opportunity to bless him. He did a really good job and I told him he did good enough that he can bless our kids.. :) It was good practice for him!
Now our little boy is 1 year old and starting to walk! He has a really fun personality and is starting to play with his fun big brother Braxton a lot more. Braxton is turning 4 next week and keeps us laughing every time we see him.

New family member

A lot has been going on since we posted last!! I've got some fun pictures of us flying with Brandon's uncle in September that I'll post soon. I've just been taking two general online classes to get ready for the bachelor program that I haven't quite decided if I want to do, and Brandon has been working on getting our snowmobiles ready for winter. We also have a new family member!!

This is little Jack who is a persian kitten. He was born August 3rd so he is about 10 weeks old right now. He is a blast, but we are counting down the days until he can be declawed! I'm afraid our furniture isn't gonna make it!!

Yoda is finally getting use to him and has started playing with him which is awesome because thats all Jack wants to do!

Bear Lake ride

At the end of June Brandon wanted to take a ride on our road bike with some friends. We went to Bear Lake and played in the water a bit, then went to a really good pizza place. Of course we had to stop next door for a little chocolate fudge too! :) It was lots of fun, but I don't think we could go on very much longer rides! your bottom gets very very numb after awhile!

Its official!!

I took the dreaded state test on July 1st, and found out July 3rd that I had passed!! I couldn' t believe it! I felt so sure I had failed the test that I went and filled out all the forms to retake it, but I didn't need them afterall! So now I have my official Registered nurse license and I'm free!! It feels so great to have that huge weight off my shoulders! I'll put some pics of my b-e-a-utiful bright purple cap and gown from graduation up soon! yeah!

Brandon's motorcycle

Brandon has been busy playing with his new roadbike lately. He had to sell his dirtbike for it, but so far he thinks its worth it! He babies it, but thats ok!

RN temporary license

Yeah!! I finally got my nursing temp license at the end of May. Now I can get paid almost RN wages!! Woohoo!! So my last hurtle in this journey is passing the dreaded boards. I take it in July and there is no pressure at all to pass...i'll only lose my job and have to go back to being a CNA...ya no pressure at all. Right now I'm just trying to get use to working five in the morning to five at night, I'm definetely not a morning person so four is pushing it for me!
